If you have ever seen the show, Land of the Lost, from the '70s or something, you can easily see how easily it could be made fun of. Which is what this 2009 movie is about. Dr. Rick Marshall is a misunderstood scientist analyzing the stuff of warp holes. In which he gets made fun of for. Until one day, with a few other people, he steps into one. Tossing him into a world of oddities. One could call it the... Land of the lost? This movie is a funny ones, and for the most part, "clean". You may recognize Danny McBride in this movie who is also in Hot Rod and Tropic Thunder, and if you've ever heard of The Lonely Island (band)? Band behind the awesome "I'm on a Boat" music video, you probably won't recognize that band's Jorma Taccone, he plays the monkey in this movie, he also is in Hot Rod. Anyways, fans of Will Ferrel and such will like this movie, well, I would think most people in general will find it some kind of funny.
